2026 Mystery Sew-Along

  • Our 2026 Sew-Along will start on the 30th January.

  • The quilt will measure approximately 56 1/2" x 56 1/2" (154cm x 154cm).

    • Block 8 - 26th June

    • Block 10 - 7th August
    • Block 11 - 28th August
    • Block 12 - 18th September
    • Block 13 - 9th October
    • Make the centre of the quilt - 30th October
    • Add the borders and binding - 20th November
    • Share your photos - 11th December

Materials List

    • (13) fat 8ths of blue small print fabric for the applique blocks.
    • Assorted scraps of contrasting fabric for the leaves and applique.
    • 10" layer cakes and fat 16ths are great stash builders.
    • 65cm (3/4 yard) of fabric for the setting triangles.
    • 35cm (3/8 yard) of fabric for the first border.
    • 85cm (1 yard) of fabric for the border.
    • 45cm (1/2 yard) of fabric for the binding.
    • A piece of batting measuring at least 64 1/2in (164cm) square.
    • 3.3m (3 5/8 yards) of 42" wide backing fabric.
    • Lightweight fusible web for the applique.
    • I used approx. 1.9m (2 yards) of 17" wide fusible web.
    • Assorted sewing and applique threads.
    • Sewing machine with 1/4" foot.
    • General sewing supplies including a rotary cutter, ruler, and mat.
