It's been three weeks since I tripped over the ironing cord. I still can't walk properly, sit for prolonged periods of time, and my foot is still pins and needles. All the plans I've made, including our first holiday in 13 years, have had to be put on hold. Hilariously, we were planning a walking holiday!

Unfortunately I'm prone to injuring myself because (a) I'm a 100-miles-an-hour, hyperactive klutz and (b) my right leg is shorter than my left. The limb discrepancy destablises the whole spinal, hip, and lower limb structure and causes all sorts of problems (despite custom made shoe inserts). Considering they thought I had a spinal fracture, I'm doing ok. Frustrated and angry with myself, but ok.
I don't know why society doesn't like admitting illness or injury anymore. It's like we're supposed to be super-human. Phooey to that gargage. We're not robots, we're germ ridden, breakable meat sacks, like it or not lol.

I must be on the mend though, I've started thinking about dusting off the sewing machine and I'm ready to play with some fabric. Slowly does it... maybe throttle back to 75 miles an hour?
